Kinderen die moeten wachten willen bezig zijn met iets – of dat nu in een restaurant is of in de wachtkamer van de dokter. Dan is het goed wanneer men zijn kleine klanten en patiënten wat te bieden heeft, bijvoorbeeld kleurplaten. Als basis kan een lettertype dienen dat moet worden ingekleurd. Daarvan zijn er gelukkig heel wat die gratis kunnen worden gedownload.
Sinds enkele jaren zijn er in de handel ook talrijke kleurboeken voor volwassenen verkrijgbaar, die bedoeld zijn als ontspanning. En wie heeft er (heimelijk) al niet eens letters ingekleurd? Letters op flyers, postkaarten en brochures die kunnen worden ingekleurd, doen het niet alleen goed bij kinderen. Er zijn veel lettertypes om in te kleuren te vinden.
